OLD BUSINESS: Field Day planning was discussed. All members were emailed a Google map of the site. We are hoping for four or five transmitters through Saturday evening and on Sunday morning. There are four locations with shelters. There will be three wire antennae at the top of the tower. Four people are needed to stay overnight. Would also like to run 10 meter, but a filter is needed to operate. Larry Cicchinelli K3PTO made a motion to purchase a $90 filter. Motion passed.

Testing of the radio equipment and generator needs to be done before June 1 to make sure everything is working. Jack McGuire WJØTM has three club radios that he will test. Radios can also be sent home with members to test. Fred Groce KØFG will bring a Flex radio and Buford Casebolt KFØEAO will bring radios also. The operator schedule will be discussed at the May meeting. Please email Ron Campbell AEØJA with what hours you would like to operate.

Set up will begin at 9 am with the contest starting at 1 pm and operating for 24 hours. Tear down will begin around 1 pm on Sunday.

Dinner will be at 5 pm. Steve Bouck KDØSB will be providing the entrees and sides and is asking members to bring desserts.

Dale Bland KEØYFL gave an update from the Mid-County Fire Department about the DMR repeater. Specifications were sent to the Deputy Chief and he is waiting for a reply. Fred Groce KØFG discussed the KRMS site. The owners are both Ham Operators. There is no internet access. There is a 440 beam antennae on the tower that faces St. Louis which would restrict use for hand helds.

NEW BUSINESS: Dale Bland KEØYFL reported that the Equipment and Liability insurance will be due in June.

Sickness and Injuries: Fred Groce KØFG wife, VeeJay, is doing better after her foot surgery. Ron Campbell AEØJA burnt his hand.

Ham Equipment for sale or swap: Larry Cicchinelli K3PTO has a bunch of cable from a deceased ham operator in his car if anyone is interested.

Announcements: The next Eating Meeting on April 14 will be at the Rusty Rooster in Lake Ozark. Larry Cicchinelli has a $50 check to donate to the Club for installing an antennae.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:48 pm.

Respectively submitted,
Dale Bland, KEØYFL
