Larry Cicchinelli K3PTO will get with Fred Groce for more info.

NEW BUSINESS:

Larry Cicchinelli K3PTO asked members to discuss their ideas about
Club involvement. Ron Campbell AEØJA said that we could use the same ideas as the Club did for Field Day, such as hand outs with Club information on a 5×7 card listing what we do, ham info, etc. Having ad that could be placed on bulletin boards was suggested. Having a low cost ad in the newspaper was suggested. Jack McGuire WJØTM asked if the Club had an address stamp that could be used on ARRL flyers, etc. Dale Bland KEØYFL will look into purchasing a stamp for the Club. If it is under
$50, go ahead and order one. Larry Cicchinelli said that he had received a post card from the Club when he had moved here. Providing information to Middle School, High School and LCTC students was discussed. There is a robotics club that might be interested. Frank Galinski NØLRG suggested inviting the owners of KRMS radio to attend our meetings. He will contact them. Cheryl Bland KDØEYQ will contact the Camdenton Area Chamber of Commerce about our Club helping them with events and provide information to Larry Cicchinelli. Ron Swiney ABØP said that the Climax Springs High School had one of our radios there, but the kids are not interested in it. He had been contacted by Maintenance trying to find out what it was about 10 years ago. Buford Casebolt KFØEAO had contacted them a year ago and they did not know anything about a radio. Larry Cicchinelli had visitors to his house from two different
organizations to discuss ham radio with them. Larry Cicchinelli asked everyone to keep thinking of more ideas of how the Club can better serve the community and that the community needs to know our services are here.
