ARRL Field Day

Thanks to all of those who have given of themselves and their substance, LOARC continues to keep this long standing tradition alive

Field Day 2024
This years event will be held on:
Sat. June 22, 9:00am-Sun. June 23,1:00pm

Location:  Camdenton City Park,  North Business Rt. 5, Left on Ball Park Rd.                         At the Second Pavilion, located on the South end of the picnic area circle drive.

A Special Thanks to Travis Brock and the City of Camdenton for all of their support and allowing LOARC to hold this years event at the city park..

Recently we had the opportunity to go to the city park to survey the site for antennas and shelter locations.
Fred, (K0FG), led a crew to establish locations for antennas, and Larry, (K3PTO), is heading up shelter locations and Setup.
It looks like we will have a great setup, with plenty of room for three horizontal antennas, and most likely two vertical, screwdriver antennas.  We might also setup a. 6meter Yagi.
We also have plenty of space for the clubs 15×20 shelter as a common area, and two popups in addition to the park pavilion for operating stations.
